Resumen: Este articulo revisa la evolución de la historia morisca y la rebelión de las Alpujarras en el pensamiento árabe desde el siglo XVII hasta hoy. La primera parte está dedicada a analizar la presencia de los moriscos en las fuentes árabes, los escritos moriscos, y literatura de viaje (XVII-XIX). La segunda parte trata sobre los escritos históricos árabes, principalmente del siglo XX. La tercera parte analiza la aproximación narrativa o novelística árabe a la historia morisca y la rebelión de las Alpujarras en el siglo XXI. Desde una aproximación histórica, como base obligada para el análisis del discurso, hemos tratado de responder a estas cuestiones esenciales: ¿Cómo ha evolucionado la mirada árabe sobre la historia de los moriscos? ¿Qué rasgos fundamentales tiene la visión árabe sobre los moriscos de la España moderna?
Abstract: This article looks at the evolution of Moriscos history and the rebellion of the Alpujarras in Arab thought from the 17th century to the present. The first part was devoted to analyzing the presence of the Moriscos in Arabic sources, the Moorish writings, and travel literature (XVII-XIX). The second part deals with Arab historical writings, mainly in the twentieth century. The third part analyzes the narrative approach or Arab novelist to the Moorish history and the rebellion of the Alpujarras in the 21st century. From a historical approach as an obligatory basis for discourse analysis, we have tried to answer these essential questions: How has the Arab perspective evolved on the history of the Moriscos? What are the fundamental features of the Arab vision of the Moriscos?
